Mayor John Cooper has announced Nashville will move back into a modified version of Phase Two of the city’s road map to reopening plan.
BEer Strong, Nashville. Stay safe. And, support your local businesses!
A big heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone that has supported us over the past few months – with every curbside or delivery order our hearts have grown a little bigger. We feel the love, Nashville, and are excited to serve the community again. We have been working hard over the past weeks to ensure we are doing everything we can to make sure our employees and our fans are safe. We are following all guidelines set forth by the CDC and Metro Nashville and are taking additional measures as well. During this phase, we are only opening with limited capacity and will strictly enforce.
What can you expect when visiting New Heights?
We have removed community tables, extra chairs, games, and the popcorn machine. We have added hand sanitizer, lines to keep distance in line for the restroom, and the team has built new hop planters and tables for the patio. The bar is closed for seating.
We will be sporting our New Heights masks and will be doing temperature checks at every shift. If anyone has any symptoms of being ill, they will be asked to go home for the safety of others.
Our menu will include your favorite pizza and beer!
We appreciate your patience as we navigate the ‘new’ normal and implement new processes to better serve our community. Running a small business can be challenging. Running a brewery during a pandemic was beyond comprehension until a few months ago. Wishing you all health and safety during the months ahead.

Tracey Fountain has always had a passion for business. She is an accomplished professional with over 18 years of account, program, and project management focused on technology products and services. Raised in an entrepreneurial family, it is no surprise that her dream was to one day own her own business. Tracey is passionate about working hard and playing hard, and can usually be found chasing her sons,
Jordan and Connor, around the tasting room.
After serving in the Marine Corps and while attending San Diego State University, Dustin found his passion for creating delicious recipes—whether in the kitchen or behind the bar. Dustin and his wife, Katy, were the Fountain’s neighbors in San Diego, and they bonded over a love for beer and dogs. You might have seen Dustin (or his beard) at Merchants while the brewery was still in planning. In his spare time, he's either woodworking or crafting culinary masterpieces for his family and friends.
Josh sprouted from a small town in Oregon. After 10+ years in the construction business, he moved to Nashville looking to change careers. He walked in one afternoon in June 2016, asked to wash kegs for free, and hasn’t left since. He now brews part of the sweet nectar we produce. Anything that goes awry in the brewery it is definitely his fault. He knows. You’ll see him pacing around the back looking mad or filling in up front. He doesn’t bite, we promise.
Jeff hails from Alabama, primarily Monroeville, and graduated from Troy University in 1999. From Birmingham, AL to San Diego, CA, he spent 10+ years working in retail and finance, until he made the move to pursue brewing full-time. After serving as a brewer at San Diego's Mission Brewery, he and his wife/co-owner, Tracey, moved to Nashville to start New Heights. When he's not crafting beer, he's hanging out with his family, including sons Jordan, Connor and furbaby, Murphy.
Tasting Room Manager/Sales
Born and raised in San Diego (and a trained actress), Katy’s original beverage passion was wine. She is a Certified Specialist of Wine and a Level Two Sommelier. Through a chance encounter with neighbors, Jeff and Tracey Fountain, Katy and her husband, Dustin, tasted what would become their favorite beer of all time—Jeff's IPA brewed right out of his garage. And the rest is history. When Katy’s not behind the New Heights bar, she’s spending time with Dustin and their Boston Terrier, Muggs.

Join us in welcoming John Arnold to the New Heights team!. Many of the Best Brands family has known and worked with (or drank with) John for many years - and we are excited to have him joining our team. John will join Katy in driving distribution sales and you will probably see him around the taproom as well.
John is a proud Tennessean, born and raised in the Grand Division of West Tennessee. He left his quaint hometown of Milan to attend MTSU.. There, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business in 2006 and moved to the Music City in 2007. After 10 years working tirelessly as a Wack-A-Mole in a Cube-Farm and working part time in Nashville's budding craft beer scene, John decided to follow his passion for craft beer and start a new career slinging suds around the Tri Star State. Four years and several opportunities later he found his way home to New Heights, where he has been a proud Mug Club member since day one.
